July 1st Fireworks There is no Canada Day quite as enjoyable as a small town Canada day.  Enjoy a pancake breakfast at the Fire Hall, a local parade, swing to the sounds of our annual street dance and end your evening at the beach enjoying the sights and sounds of the Canada Day Fireworks display. Our Village has the best Canada Day in the Fraser Valley.

Festival of the Arts  this annual week long festival features evening concerts, indoor and outdoor art exhibits, workshops, and artisan art market featuring over 50 stalls boasting handmade furniture, home decor and garden objects,  pottery and clothing stalls.  With importance placed on the diversity of arts and culture in Canada it is a great event.  Stay the weekend enjoy the shopping and take in a concert.  Harrison Heritage House is just across the street from the concert hall.

Exlplore the Local History  Kilby Historic Site is a striking throwback in time complete with period costumes, a quaint café and a 1906 General Store Museum. The Agassiz Harrison Museum, housed in a former Canadian Pacific Railroad Station is where you will find hundreds of artifacts depicting life in the area over the last 114 years. 604.796.3545 The historic Pioneer Cemetary had the first person laid to rest in 1899. The cemetery was located on the hillside to protect it from flooding. Many of the coffins and headstones had to be dragged by a horse and sled to their final resting place.
