Things to do by car

The area around Harrison contains some of the best farmland in the Fraser valley.  Understandably it has attracted some unique farms and talented artisans.

Circle Farm Tours

Our area is the home of the original Circle Farm Tour established in 2003.  Ranging from Langley to Harrison Hot Springs these self-guided tours offer visitors a chance to connect with their food, enjoy handmade arts and crafts and experience the natural wonders of our valley.

The Back Porch offers a pottery studio and coffee roasted in a Circa 1919 Flame Roaster. Shop for antiques, collectibles and other home and garden décor in the barn. When in season fresh Russian red garlic and garden vegetables are also available.

The Farm House Natural Cheeses has a wide range of handmade artisan cheeses all produced from the rich fresh milk of their own dairy cows and goats. Watch the cheese making process through the viewing window while enjoying some gelato ice cream and other local specialties.

Enjoy a wonderful organic lunch at the Limbert Mountain Farm. Featuring an organic nursery and specialty farm growing potted herbs, heirloom tomatoes and ornamental grasses. A shop for home and garden décor also featuring custom tea blends and gourmet culinary products.

In the heart of the town centre of Agassiz you will find the Agassiz-Harrison Museum. Take a step back in time.

Canadian Hazelnuts grow, process and sell a variety of hazelnut products including fresh, roasted, candied, chocolate bark, organic nuts, flour and oil. Self-guided orchard tours and u-pick from late September to mid-October.

Don’t leave the Corn Capital of BC without stopping at the Sparkes Corn Barn. Corn and strawberries handpicked daily  for the highest quality and freshness.
